SHIPPING CHARGES
The shipping cost varies on the number of plants you order, how big the plants are and your shipping address. For that reason we charge exactly what Canada Post charges us. Then once we ship your order, we will charge your credit card for the exact shipping cost.
PAYMENT METHOD
At this time we only take payment by credit card. You will have two charges on your credit card; first one for the Plants and second one for the exact shipping cost. Your credit card number will then be erased from our records.
HOW ARE THE PLANTS SHIPPED?
All plants are sent bare rooted. The dirt is removed and the plants are soaked in water for 3-5 hours so they are well hydrated, wrap the roots in newspaper, and then wrapped with plastic to keep moist. Lastly the complete plant is "florist" wrapped in newspaper before being carefully boxed. Each plant is individually tagged so you know exactly what you are getting.
WHAT SIZE PLANTS WILL I GET?
That all depends on the plant. For newer introductions, you will usually receive a single division. For varieties that have been in our gardens for a while, they can have 2 or more divisions. When we are pulling plants for your order we always pull the plants that we would suggest to you if you were in the garden.
